Poughkeepsie Grand Slate patio
This Poughkeepsie project turns the space between an existing deck, above-ground pool and lawn into one connected outdoor-living area. The footprint follows the features already in the yard instead of forcing a basic rectangle into the space.
Grand Slate stamping gives the surface the irregular character of natural stone. The concrete itself remains natural gray, while a charcoal-gray accent settles into the texture and defines the individual slate shapes.
Rounded outside corners soften the edge facing the yard and make the broad patio feel integrated with the landscaping. The completed layout creates a continuous surface for moving between the home, deck and pool area.
